SU-100 - Soviet counter-tank SU-100 - Soviet anti-tank self-propelled artillery unit from the period of the Second World War, a class of tank destroyers.
It was created on the basis of the medium tank T-34/85 by the design bureau of Uralmashzavod at the end of 1943 - the beginning of 1944 as a further development of the T-34 due to insufficient capabilities in the fight against German heavy tanks.C 1951production of the SU-100 under the Soviet license was carried out in Czechoslovakia.In total in the USSR and Czechoslovakia 4976 ACS of this type were produced.The first combat use of the SU-100 took place in January 1945. Subsequently, the SU-100 was used in a number of operations of the Great Patriotic and Soviet-Japanese War.
