In 1996, the 3rd generation of RX-7 FD3S received a minor face lift, a.k.a. the model IV. This model IV was the only model employed by the police for patrol cars among the FD3S variations. 7 vehicles were converted and assigned to Miyagi, Niigata, Gunma, Tochigi, Chiba, Saitama, and Kyoto prefectural police respectively from 1998 to 1999. This model kit comes with radar equipped rotary beacon light. The decal sheet includes each prefectural police department marking. Masking stickers for the engine hood and window trims are also included.
