Trumpeter 1/700 German Aircraft Carrier Graf Zeppelin 06709
The Zeppelin class aircraft carrier Graf Zeppelin is an aircraft carrier built by the German navy (Kriegsmarine) during the Second World War. It is also the only aircraft carrier in Germany that has been launched in history, with a displacement of about 33,000 tons. On December 28, 1936, the keel was placed at the Deutsche Werke in Kiel. Due to the dispute between the German navy and the Air Force on aircraft ownership, the construction plan was continuously postponed, and the subsequent World War II outbreak caused the aircraft carrier to be terminated in May 1940, and the project was completed 85%, mainly because Hitler decided to make the Navy bigger. Part of the funds were used to develop submarines, and the aircraft carrier was not completed.

On April 25, 1945, in order to avoid falling into the hands of the Soviets, they chose to sink themselves. After the war, the Soviet Union picked up the "Graf Zeppelin" hull and sank on the way to the Soviet Union. In August 1947, the Soviet Union picked up again and towed it again to Leningrad. After detailed research, it was blown up by the Soviet Navy as a target ship.
