US Navy DD-537 Sulikun destroyer total length: 114.8 meters wide: 12.1 meters draught: 4.1 meters displacement: 2050 tons destroyer DD-537 was originally named "Putnam".åÊOn February 6, 1943, in order to commemorate the five brothers of the Suliwen family who disappeared together during the sinking of the "Junuo" cruiser, the ship was renamed "Su Li Wen".åÊOn April 4, 1943, under the promotion of a champagne by Mrs. Thomas F. Sullivan, the mother of the five brothers in Sultan, the ‰ÛÏSuliwen‰۝ began to be launched and served in 5 months. .åÊThe ‰ÛÏSu Li Wen‰۝ arrived in Pearl Harbor on December 28, 1943, and began a fighting career in the Pacific waters.åÊIn the next 19 months, the ‰ÛÏSu Li Wen‰۝ performed outstandingly.åÊIn action, she not only provides orientation for the bomber, but also protects the aircraft carrier in the formation, and even acts as a warning whistle in the attack of Japanese suicide planes.åÊOn January 10, 1946, the "Su Li Wen" was retired in San Diego.åÊOn July 6, 1951, because of the outbreak of the Korean War, the "Su Li Wen" rejoined the sequence of the US Navy until January 7th, 1965, officially retired.åÊThe "Su Li Wen" won a total of nine Stars during the Second World War and won two Stars during the Korean War.
