The Japanese I-19 was a huge vessel. The small reconnaissance seaplane it carried had the distinction of being the only Japanese warplane to bomb the United States mainland, when 2 light bombs were dropped in an Oregon forest in September of 1942. This model measures 15 1/2 inches long, and has a fully detailed hull, deck and conning tower. The kit is molded in gray and includes a display stand with nameplate.
