A customer of Milano gave an order to Ferrari for a very special car he wanted quite different from the other Daytonas.
In 1969 the factory asked Pininfarina to work on a specially strengthened chassis and a Scaglietti body without side and
rear glasses. Pininfarina made some modifications to the body and delivered the car to its first owner. It is worth noting that
it was the last order for a special body honoured by the great coachbuilder
The body was finished in ”blu tourbillon” 2448607 with parchment interior. The car was fitted with a radio
and air-conditioned. Sold by the well-known milanese dealer Crepaldi to its firts owner, the car was sent
eventually to the USA then to Japan where it was for sale at Seaside Motors’ in 1978. It was bought by
Yoshi ito Matsuda in 1979 and put on display in his famous collection/museum ”Ferrari Museum of Art”.
The car went back to europe at GTC who sold it to its current owner. In June 2007 it was selected by the
factory to celebrate the marque’s anniversary.
