Gallery Model 1/16 German Sturmgeschutz III Ausf.G 64009

Plastic model kit, assembly required.  Glue, paint and finishing supplies not included.

Germany manufactured more StuG. IIIs than any of their other fully tracked armored fighting vehicles. From its earliest design as a mobile, armored light gun for direct fire support of infantry, a series of modifications morphed it into a prolific tank killer. StuG. III saw action in North Africa and throughout Europe, including the Russian Front. They were often referred to as the work horses of the German army. Gallery captures the StuG. III’ s low profile silhouette along with its other key features, including:

Armor side skirts

Fenders with surface detail

Metal gun barrel

Main gun sight

Photo-etched screens

Working tracks and torsion bar suspension

Periscopes

MG-34

Exhaust Details

Metal Cable

Onboard vehicle equipment

Partial interior with radios, gun details and firewall
