Plastic model kit, assembly required. Glue, paint and finishing supplies not included.
The Panzer II is a light tank produced and operated in Germany during World War II; the F-type is a type that strengthens the armor of the A and C types and improves productivity. The F-type is the final production type as a standard Type II tank; 524 of this tank were produced from March 1941 to December 1942. Germany continued to greatly expand its armored divisions after 1941, but the number of production of the Panzer III/IV, which should have been the main force, did not increase as expected, so the Panzer II, which had advantages in terms of price and production time, was selected instead. The F-type's basic armor is thickened overall, the turret is equipped with a cupola, and the front of the fighting compartment is equipped with a cover that looks like a visor next to the driver's visor. In 1942, the F-type began to be deployed in North Africa following the Panzer II A to C types, and the 10th Armored Division, dispatched to Tunisia in November of the same year, was also equipped with the F-type.
