This mold was created in 1957 when
tool & die making was an art and not
a CAD program. For almost 30 years,
Glencoe attempted to obtain this
mold stored away in New Jersey.
Finally in 2014, they were able to
purchase it. After being lost to histo-
ry for over 50 years, they got to work
bringing this classic model back to
life. Since that time, they have re-
stored the mold, replaced pins, polished and refitted certain cavities.
Now it is perfect. No flash. Incredibly detailed. Its quality matches any new
kit created today.
