The fourth-generation Honda Civic gets a new 1/24-scale model kit from Hasegawa! The fourth-generation Civic, commonly known as the Grand Civic, was released in September 1987. With its wide, low styling, DOHC 16-valve engine, and advanced mechanisms such as four-wheel double-wishbone suspension, it evolved into a model that combined stability and sportiness. It gained popularity among a wide range of buyers, and in 1989, the three-door sports model SiR was released, equipped with a VTEC engine.

This model kit reproduces the 1990 model of the Civic SiR with a completely new mold, based on thorough research on the actual vehicle. You can choose between normal and low-down vehicle height; this is the right-hand-drive five-speed manual version. The mirror surfaces of the headlights and taillights, the side mirrors, and the muffler cutter are plated parts.
