Boeing's CH-46 " Sea Knight " entered the US Navy in the early 1960s and entered service with the Marine Corps. The main tasks of this aircraft in the Navy include transportation, vertical supply, search, and rescue. The Marine Corps uses it as a special mission conveyor. The CH-46 " Sea Knight " is the larger helicopter equipped by the U.S. Navy. It adopts a dual-engine, two-seater pilot, and a tandem propeller layout. It first flew in 1962 and entered production in 64. The unique design results of the front and rear tandem propellers have greatly improved the flight performance of the aircraft. The maneuverability in all directions is better than previous models. In addition, this design also improves the safety performance of the aircraft.
