The Fletcher class was a typical large destroyer of the U.S. Navy during World War II. From 1944 to 1944, 175 ships were commissioned. The DD-792 Callaghan is a late model of this class, and was commissioned in 1943. She sank in the Battle of Okinawa.

This kit can be built as a full-hull or waterline model. Decals are included, and it will be about 16.4cm long when completed.
