Improved Precision & Durability
The material has been changed from tungsten carbide steel, which was used in the "Sustaina Blade Set," to Swiss-made high-speed steel.
As a result, the ultra-thin cutting edge is now less prone to chipping, making the blade last longer.
Furthermore, by slightly increasing the blade thickness and precisely controlling it, the gap with the cutting board blade of the Sustaina Nipper Advance has been minimized, reducing gate residue.
- Due to structural characteristics, a small amount of residue may remain depending on the gate position and cutting method.
- Regular maintenance is recommended due to the adoption of the new material.
Evolved into a Sharper Blade with Less Resistance
The Sustaina Blade SHARP# has an improved grinding method, making it sharper than before.
With a shallower bevel and a two-stage sharp cutting edge, the blade smoothly enters as if cutting through a soft material, resulting in a clean and smooth cut surface.
Cuts Hard Clear Parts with Ease
It can also cut hard, highly transparent clear parts while minimizing whitening and cracking.
Despite being a replaceable blade, it maintains sharpness for an extended period, even when repeatedly cutting hard parts.
- Cutting runners thicker than Diameter 3mm on plastic models or supports from 3D-printed parts may damage the Sustaina Nipper Advance itself.
- This product is the successor to the "Sustaina Blade Set."
With the release of this product, the previous "Sustaina Blade Set" will be discontinued. - The reissued Sustaina Nipper Advance will come standard with one Sustaina Blade SHARP#.
