Sweet 1/144 Japanese A5M4 Type96 (2) No.44 14144

Plastic model kit, assembly required.  Glue, paint and finishing supplies not included.

This awesome kit from Sweet allows you to assemble two of the iconic Type 96 Carrier Fighter (A5M4) from World War II! It was the world's first monoplane fighter, appearing in 1936; it was used from land or based on aircraft carriers, and about 1,000 of this aircraft were produced.  For air combat training purposes, the Type 96 was given a special paint job: red and white to identify it as a "friend," or black to identify it as a "foe."

The initial release of this kit will include photo-etched parts, including the wing pitot tubes, which are too small to be molded in plastic at 1/144 scale, and landing gear! (Only the first release of this kit will come with the photo-etched parts; subsequent releases will not have this item. If your kit does not have this item, it was not part of the first release.) Decals by Cartograf for four different aircraft are also included, for planes based on the aircraft carrier Akagi or Soryu, and the Yokosuka Air Force base.

Even better, two types of box art by manga artist Yukihisa Fujita are available! These will be randomly selected. Order yours today!
