Thunder Model 1/35 US Heavy Wrecker Kenworth Model 573 35013
Plastic model kit, assembly required. Glue, paint and finishing supplies not included.

The Kenworth 10-ton 6x6 heavy-duty recovery truck was the standard model for the U.S. Army during World War II. This vehicle, equipped with a 6-cylinder Continental engine, was manufactured by Kenworth and Ward LaFrance between 1941 and 1945, with slight design differences. Early models used the manufacturers' specific cabs, fenders, and hoods, giving them a distinct appearance. The M1A1 models, on the other hand, featured open military cabs, flat fenders, and similar hoods, thus standardizing their appearance. The Kenworth Model 573 M1A1 was marketed from 1943; approximately 1,323 were produced.
