This sponge backed sandpaper is great for sanding your SD because it can be used wet, reducing the dust from sanding tremendously. Use it lightly for a smoother finish, or press more firmly to remove more from your piece. It can be reused by washing in water after use. It can also be cut into smaller pieces as needed.
If pressed strongly will act like #400, if used lightly will act like #600 sandpaper.
We recommend this medium strength for regular modifications, such as seam removal. It is best to use a higher grade sponge for a finisher after using this paper.
